Mrs. Virginia Cox 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade, Archery Coach
Mrs. Virginia Cox, is originally from Tallassee, Alabama, and is a graduate of Troy University. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Business Management, as well as a certificate in Teaching ESL. She has taught in both virtual and face-to-face classrooms in Niceville, Fl, Washington DC, Birmingham, AL, and Savannah, GA for ages 2-12 on a weekly basis over the last decade, while also homeschooling her own kids and serving in many community roles as an Air Force key spouse. She is married to her college sweetheart, Steven Cox, and has three beautiful daughters, one in high school and two in elementary that attend TCS. They moved to Thomasville in 2019. They have been excited to settle in and build a community here with the TCS and their East Side Baptist church family. She loves being with her own kids and with yours and is passionate about helping children view the world through a biblical lens. Being a part of training them to seek out the reflection of our great God in His perfectly designed and detailed creation is a blessing and not taken lightly! While not teaching, she enjoys painting, and reading the likes of Francine Rivers, and is an active promoter of planting seeds to encourage discipleship among women.
