Mrs. Rebekah Tanner 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade

I'm excited to be a part of the Thomasville Christian School family and teach the inquisitive minds of 2nd and 3rd graders this year! I have over 18 years of experience working with children. I worked in the Thomas County School system for over 8 years teaching various grades K through 7th; however, took three years off to be at home with my daughter where I gained experience teaching and working with infants to toddlers. For the past 2 years, I taught the 3 and 4-year-old preschool class at Thomasville Christian School. I was raised in Tallahassee where I attended grade school and college (Flagler College) where I received a degree in Elementary Education/Exceptional Student Education with ESOL and Reading Endorsements. I moved to Thomasville in 2012 after entering the Thomas County school system with my first full-time teaching position. My husband Brian and I have been married for almost seven years, and we have one daughter (Adalyne, 4). We belong to a wonderful church family at Victory Fellowship here in Thomasville. I look forward to teaching at Thomasville Christian School where I am encouraged and expected to share my faith daily!
