Mrs. Michelle Poitevint 2nd/3rd Grade Teacher
Michelle is an Illinois native who has lived in both Florida and Georgia for the past 37 years. She was raised by two wonderful educators and attended Missouri Synod Lutheran schools from grades 1-12 before attending college. Her adult children were raised here in Thomasville and graduated from the city’s Scholar’s Academy; McKenzie in 2010, and Sean in 2014. Sean is also a proud Thomasville Christian School alum! Since earning their degrees and starting their careers, they live in and serve the Georgia communities of Warner Robins and Kennesaw alongside their spouses and children. Michelle’s husband Kenny and she are bonus supporters of each others’ grown up kids, and they enjoy a collective 9 grandchildren with yet another on the way. God has been good!
Michelle shares… “Second and third grades are an opportunity to mature as elementary students by building on acquired primary skills and emerging into intermediate learning. As both the recipient of quality Christian education and a former TCS parent and teacher, I understand the mission of our school, and am committed to partnering with your family to ensure your child’s success. Additionally, I have worked with children and families during my working life in public, private, legal, and correctional settings. I am passionate about ministry and promoting growth in God’s people.”
